Santé is made by The Lucas Agency GmbH, Germany (see the legal notice). By using the app you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
Santé is about alcoholic drinks. You may only use it if you are of legal drinking age where you live (for example 18 in the UK and most of the EU, 21 in the USA).
The app helps you remember and learn about wine. It does not encourage drinking, and nothing in it is health advice. Never drink and drive. If you are pregnant, taking medication or have a health condition, ask a doctor.
Descriptions of regions, grapes, styles and food pairings, quizzes and suggestions are general information. We work to keep them correct, but wine is full of exceptions and we cannot guarantee that every detail is right or complete. Suggestions based on your ratings are guesses about your taste, not promises.
Shop prices are found automatically in online shops and may be out of date, for a different vintage or bottle size, or simply wrong. Wine lists read from a photo can contain reading mistakes. Markup estimates are based on those numbers. Always check the price with the shop or restaurant before you buy. We are not a shop, do not sell wine and are not responsible for the offers of the shops shown.
Your notes, ratings and photos stay yours. You give us only the rights we need to store them, sync them between your devices and, when you add them to a shared collection, show them to its members.
In shared collections, only add content you are allowed to share. No illegal, hateful or harassing content, and no photos of people without their consent. Members can report entries and block other members; we may remove content that breaks these rules.
Some features cost us money each time they are used, so they have daily limits (for example the number of wine lists read or prices checked per day). The limits may change. A feature may also be unavailable at times.
We may improve, change or remove features. Your journal always stays on your phone, and you can export it at any time from Settings. If we ever shut down the online service, we will tell you in good time so you can export your data.
The app is provided free of charge. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where the law requires it (for example under the German Product Liability Act). For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable. Otherwise we are not liable.
German law applies. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.
If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top and tell you in the app about important changes.
